Basics with Outlook Express 5+
When you want to use .eml files, you just click on the "envelope" and the stationery opens up and is ready to use in Outlook Express (5+) as a "New Message."
Important:
Stationery does not always display correctly when writing your message. If you want to see how it actually will look before sending, do as follows:
• have your "New Message" window open
• select View/Source Edit
• this will give you three option tags at the bottom of the window
• select "Preview" and you'll be able to see exactly how your stationery will look
• go back to the option "Edit" (where you type) and send your message.
To be able to use Outlook Express 6, there are a few steps that need to be done to be able to see the stationery properly:
1. Open Outlook Express 6
2. Go to Tools/Options
3. Select the Security Tab
4. change the options from "restricted zone" to "internet zone" (less secure but more functional)
5. choose OK
You are now able to view all stationery made for OE5 and higher.
